“The Illusionist” (2010)
Ooohhh, I can’t wait for this to finally make its way outside of France!
Jacques Tati has always been one of my favourite comedic masterminds, and Sylvain Chomet is the wonderful man who brought us animation as it should be in “Les Triplettes de Belleville” a few years back.
This combo gave me goosebumps the first time I heard of it and now my waiting seems to be over soon. My only worries is that it won’t get picked up by Swedish cinema, since they’d rather show pure crap (in 3D!) than anything that’s actually worth the ticket price.
